Market Crashes On Investment In Love – A Poem

Disaster has struck,
The investor is aghast,
What he thought will grow forever,
Didn’t last!

 Forecasters are dizzy,
Rating agencies appalled,
They couldn’t predict, the stock
Was going to fall!

 Auditors are summoned,
Explanations are sought.
What happened to the
Invisible hand of god?

 Balance sheets are examined,
Orders are sent to sub-poena the record.
What was a bull market,
Dragged the investor down like an ox.

 Miscalculations are highlighted
Some fallacies are found,
It was the market pressure
that got the stock down.

 Academicians are thrilled,
A new theory is on the grill.
They don’t seem to care,
The investor has taken ill.

 The investor is infirm,
his meals are a burden for the time to come.
He is woken up in the night,
by the emptiness’s fright.

 He is scared to invest,
the doubts manifest,
What if the next investment
cause him even more distress?

 Disaster has struck,
The investor is aghast.
What he thought will grow forever,
Didn’t last!
